A Quantum Leap Year happens once every four years and 2024 is one of those years - today actually!
Because the 29th of February only happens once every four years, many people believe that the day holds significant spiritual power.
From a numerological stand point, 29 breaks down to 11 (2+9), which is known in many new age spiritual communities as being a number of awakening and spiritual enlightenment.
Even though we have a 29 in every month, the 29th of February (2) is a rare combination of numbers and therefore a rare energy to experience.
In numerology, 2 is the number of pursuing your soul purpose or mission. It carries with it a feminine energy that helps us to birth our creations and bring our ideas into the physical world.
When 11 (29th) and 2 (February) come together, their energy forms to create a powerful time for love, healing and teaching. In fact, these numbers represent the arrival of the spiritual light messenger and it is likely that if we are open and aware, we may receive some guidance on our path moving forward.
Many numerologist also believe that because the 29th of February is such a rare vibration, it causes a type of ripple effect within us.
This ripple almost creates an opportunity for us to “leap” forward in this moment in time and play catch up in our own lives.
A leap day allows us extra time to get things done and this creates a vibrational impact on the dimension of time in the Universe.
What is Quantum Leaping?
Have you ever become so caught up in the plot of a movie or the narrative of a book that it feels like the story and its characters are becoming a part of your reality? Almost as if you can see the narrative play out in your own life? It’s like your reality shifts to believe you’re in collaboration with something you’ve believed to be a part of your story now.
This, in essence, is Quantum Leaping; but, instead of your reality shifting to a plotline, you’ve leaped into the reality of a manifestation and shifted timelines.
Quantum Leaping is defined by the combination of the Law of Attraction and Physics. It states that there are several different components of our existing reality and one of the many that exists is one in which our manifestations are our lived experiences.
The theory around Quantum Leaping or Quantum Jumping states that when we achieve a major manifestation, we’ve shifted our reality. There is one overarching reason to which this theory exists in spirituality and manifesting: it requires a boundless belief that there is a reality where we’ve achieved our greatest manifestation.
The reality has already been constructed, we just have to quantum leap to get there. This is one of the strongest visualizations methods to exist in spiritual conversation. To Quantum Leap, we must have two things: one, the thing or reality in which we want to manifest, and two, the belief that a reality already exists in which we’ve achieved said manifestation.
Why does the Quantum Leaping method work?
There are a lot of manifestation exercises that exist. Visualization techniques, meditation, listing, etc, all of which help you imagine a reality in which you’ve achieved what you desire. And this is exactly what sets the quantum leap method apart from others.
For this method to work, it requires more than imagination, but the full belief that your desired reality already exists. You cannot question your worthiness, or ask how you get there. You simply innerstand that you can and another version of your future self already has. In most other exercises, you’re imagining yourself in the future while attempting to fill in the blanks on how you get there.
Before the clock was invented, the ancients not only looked to the Sun and the stars for guidance, but they also viewed synchronistic events as the way the Universe communicated movements in time. Synchronicities oftentimes show us that we have or are about Quantum Leap or Timeline Jump. These synchronistic events included seeing repeating number patterns, messages in nature, in the behaviour of animals, in the tides of the ocean and also in the wind.
While Quantum Leaping and merging with your highest timeline, or even just a better timeline than your current one, is a powerful and beautiful achievement it can feel challenging. Quantum Leaping aka Timeline Jumping can feel like you are grieving. Because you ARE.
You are in the process of letting go of the previous timeline, old thoughts, behaviors, old versions of yourself, and even people must be left behind in order to leap. You have to leap off the old timeline before you can land on the new one. Oftentimes, this experience involves a surge of intense feelings of grief before you merge with and jump onto a new timeline. Remember this is normal and all part of the process.
With this Quantum Leap in time that is given to us this year in February, it is important to observe any synchronicities that occur and whether they can provide to you clues about your own path of awakening and purpose.
This is especially important if you are trying to make sense of what energy February 29th has in store for you, as nature and the world around us are always a mirror to our own experiences.
To be clear you can Quantum Leap and Timeline Jump on ANY day of the year and we often do this throughout our lives without realizing it. Yet, on February 29th we have an even more powerful opportunity to co-create a better timeline and Quantum Leap.
Walking through February 29th is like walking through a rare portal that is only accessible to us every four years.
To most it may just feel like an extra day, but if you challenge yourself to open your awareness and think about the deeper rhythm and flow of time in this Universe, you may just be able to tap into a new energy within your own soul.
For those born on a leap day, you still have your birthday every year as this is indicated by your solar return. Your solar return is when the Sun returns to the same degree that it was on the day you were born. The Sun moves through this spot every year, regardless of whether it is a leap year or not.
For leap day babies, you can work out your Solar Return by looking at your astrology chart and working out what degree the Sun was at during your time of birth.
From an astrological perspective, it is interesting that a leap day falls in the sign of Pisces (Tropical) and Aquarius (Sidereal). The energy and essence of Pisces is truly about connecting with our deeper consciousness, emotions and spirituality. The energy of Aquarius is all about radical change and awakening to your true self. Combine both of these, since I believe both zodiac systems are relevant, and you have a powerful Quantum Leap Day energy to access for your highest good and the highest good of the collective.
Let's shift to our highest timelines and merge with a much better timeline this Leap Year than in 2020 - I'm sure we ALL can agree on that!
Having another day to enjoy in the vibration of Pisces and Aquarius seems like the Universe’s way of reminding us about the importance of consciousness and our own spiritual advancement.
To make best use of the energy of a leap day, try bringing awareness to something that you wish to leap forward with in your life. Assess where you would like to create more time and energy for something and send your intentions out into the Universe.
